I guess this might seem like a silly quesiton to some, but I would love a bit of clarification. WHen a tech description says fighter or bomber, it only affects that subset of mini ship right? I guess I am a bit confused at tiems as to what tech affects what?

Figured out the problem ( I have vista) make sure you update to the current version of stardock, i was running an old version 2.50.something I just finiched the install after doing this
