Love the look of the advent, smooth sleek. It has been hinted that they prefer technology over brute force, which fits with my ethics quite well, that said it will likely be TEC to start off with, then Advent to mix it up. I'm not really feeling it for the vasari ship design though :(, so they are likely my least favourite. Although when playing a match how much time will you actually spend zoomed in? I guess its a wait and see job really.

No I think I pretty much agree with Spartan. Although Generally I download the demo's rather then Torrent my way into testing games.... This is why Demo's need to be just that a demonstration of what we can expect from the full game. I'd rather have post release demo's that show a game off then a late beta code which can be unstable or poor performing. At the end of the day, if I don't like it, I don't buy it, if their is no Demo, I will either torrent it, if I like it I g

Gold is the saying coined when the final production disk is given to the publishers to run. Basically its the master disk that all game disks are made from, however with digital downloads and such these days, Gold is more a declaration that the game has gone into full production, and that any further amendments to code are done post release as patches. Hope that helps :D

Yea agreed a replay function would be nice, rewind and speed controls also, maybe they have already thought of it... It does seem the norm in RTS's these days
