Well that is the point, we are suggesting that the cap ships at lower levels can't do such a thing, but as it gains in rank, to the stage of the game where spam and very large fleets can be a real issue, the caps fall away to the side lines. I disagree, if you are going to have a pick up from save ability, how can you have disconnects counting as losses, putting in that feature will kill being able to play the game in stages, because if you play a game over the course of 4 days, then you will have 3 disconnects and a loss/win, so it is an untrue view. would take a major recode to fix that and to still be able to drop from a game and pick it up later I believe? but I do agree, people who drop when they have obviousl

This game is a cross between HW and Civilisation. It has the scope of Turn based strategy, operated in real time. The micromanagement has been mainly removed, which allows you to think about Strategy, and the empire as a whole. I think starting next to team mates on Random/maps or at least an option to is a pretty important addition. :) Would help for clan games too.
