Sins is the main focus on the new podcast from Fileplanet's File-N-Forget Podcast. http://news.filefront.com/file-n-forget-episode-21-sins-of-a-sullen-whitaker/
Just received my boxed Collectors Edition in the mail. Pretty damn good considering I'm in regional NSW Australia. :D
On my way there now ;) Looking forward to listening to it. :)
Restart of your PC or of MyColors? Thanks for the head's up! We're still in the process of getting all the serials set up so we want to make sure it's smooth.
Soz, I meant to say restarted MyColors. Also had to make sure that it had both Internet and Server access to validate in ZoneAlarm. Without Server access it wouldn't validate.
Got it to work. Thanks Frogboy. Had to do a restart before it would let me validate.
I've used my Sins serial and my email address but it tells me that there was an error validating my registration information.
I just noticed its available now (via clicking check for updates in game or using the launcher). It says to use a serial key, is this key the same one as Sins?
Damn! Can't enter, wont be on retail shelves here till April X-(
I got the AI down to one planet, so I used one of my fleets to hold them there and destroy their infrastructure. While this was happening I phased my 2 larger fleets straight to the Pirates Base and they got there with-in about 5 seconds of each other and after a fairly long battle I came out on top. Only just mind you, from the screenshot below you can see all that was left of the 2 fleets (combined total of 3 Capital ships and a 60 strong mix of other ships). My 3 capitals made it out ok, but
The history button in SDCentral of course. It redirects you to the chancelog . The forum post was not the final changelog, the final is always posted in the history section.
Thats the one I was refering too ;)
Sweet :) Time to grab another coffee and browse over the change log. Another showing of Ironclad and Stardock Customer Service, good work all :CONGRAT:
Excellent news. Awesome work done by Ironclad and Stardock to get the game out there and into the hands of us gamers. Also congrats to the current community for buying and getting it noticed.

I like the pirates, especially around mid-game. If you have adequate defenses up and they are beaten fairly easily there is no better spot to send your newly built Capital ship. If I know their patterns, especially if they target a specific planet of mine I dont hesitate sending my newly built capital ship there. I've even gone as far not contesting the bounty limit so they will attack me so I can get alot of experience for the new capital ship.
The only Sin I can see with this game is that it didn't come with a good dose of the Flu out of the box.
Loving this also. A bit of confussion now and again with researching, and trying to identify the enemy vessels by sight is still sinking in. Only problems I am having at the moment is trying to identify the class and function of the Pirates vessels to know which to focus fire on first. The other one is a slight annoyance with the Bounty system where the AI generally outbids me right at the second the Pirates decide their target for their attacks (:( . Other than that I can see myself
For me, reading the manual atm is based on a Coffee : Pages ratio ;)
I'm still in the process of getting my gf to play this. Hopefully she will cave :NOTSURE:
Got my email a while ago. Downloading now at a nice and steady 162KB/sec and at 57%. :) Although i wish I didnt have to give up my 8Mb connection a couple of months ago :(
Sins will be published under Auran in Australia. Incidentally, I recently read that Auran was in a bad way, having downsized a whole lot of employees, and may indeed be dissolved. Does anyone have any information on this? Wait, it's actually being published down here? I called up EB and they don't even have Sins listed in their computers. Is there an ETA on the Australia release date by Auran?
Definately agree with Dune 2 being the first RTS title. Still have the game and box in mint condition after all these years.
The countdown is based upon your computers Date and time.
It is all in US dollars. The amount you pay also depends on what version you want to get. The Download Only will set you back around $49.70 (AUS, based on current exchange rate of 0.9038) The Download + Box Copy will set you back $49.95 + $20.00 for Postage & Handling. So this will be around $77.40 (AUS). You must also take into account the added bonus for us Aussies/New Zealanders and that is pre-ordering through Stardock gets you the game on release day. The retail
is it only available for download at those times... please tell me its available around the clock after its release!!!
Sorry Chang if the times I stated where misleading. It was a broad estimate to the initial release. Tried to cover a broad timeframe because no one knows when the release will be, other than that it will be (late) afternoon Monday EST (USA Time). This was done so people in Aus/NZ can work out there own regional ti
