The TEC's LRM frigate for example has a very long range but doesn't do very good anti-capital ship damage, while the Vasari's Assailants have much shorter range but are very good anti-capital ships. Ugh, this is what I was worried about. How is a player supposed to know this? There's nothing in the tooltips about it, and no indication on the damage listing. I hate this sort of
It is per salvo
Thanks for the info my GearHead brain is very happy.
I noticed while watching many of the Beta videos that ships and defense platforms have a Damage listed for each weapon. Is it based on damage per shot or damage a second or damage put salvo?
sorry bout that, is there any way to edit posts? also the anti-matter thing only effects the ships tactical situation not the overall map, im looking at the bigger picture here.
You can only edit a post if no one has made a post after it.
I'm thinking about that. But i still want that information. -edit- Oh, and i'd much rather buy it rather then pre-order (CE ftw) as i don't actually know if i'll be here on the release date (good prospect of getting hired with fresh round of hires with a company, but if not i'll travel to where the work is and go from there, like i did before). -edit-
If you want to buy it instead of preordering it you just have to nag t
The UK is in Europe so why are you asking about the release date for some where you already said there not getting it? Because i have a post on this game in another forum and would like to post this information as there are members from the UK. And has it been said by a member of IC or SD that Canada will be shipped Sins a week after the USA, and if so why?
No one has said i
Traveling through phase lanes should cost something, cash defiantly and maybe crystals. I see it working like this, jumps to and from your homeworld will be free. The farther from your homeworld you get the more expensive it is to travel(cost is based on ship type and ship weight)also your support capital ships should be able to negate the travel expense of a number of ships equivalent to a support ability. It should cost double the travel expense to travel to enemy or unaligne
have looked but can not find a list of release dates for various countries. IIRC, USA gets Sins on the 4th, Russia/Canada is getting the game, europe is being anal and not getting it indecently, and Australia is getting in April. And that is the extent of what i know. Can someone point me to a list (i recall seeing a post on this topic but can't find it), or inform me. Most notably for Canada and the UK.
I don't know about a list but it should b
I went to EB games today and was told they where getting the game on the 8th. -edit- I'm in Canada, NL -edit-
I think that has something to do with the fact that your at least 6150 KM away from where I live in Canada and that you are at least 900 KM away from the boarder compared to me being about 150 KM away from the US Boarder.
Can we please have it a little early? Like right now... I don't know if I can wait 5 days...
You lucky I have to wait 5 Days 23 Hours and 42 Minutes if I'm lucky. Then again since I'm in Canada I could have to wait up to a week after t
i have a few gold ones :O wait, does this mean sins has gone gold?
It means a copy of the game has been sent to a manufacturer for duplication and then will shortly be distributed to stores near you.
And just like Stardock's other games, Sins of a Solar Empire will have a day 1 bonus update that includes new maps, modding tools, the forge editor, and more!
I'm pretty sure the Bonus Update is just a patch so everyone would be able to get it. Also the content they say it adds would also make me think that it would Not be only for some users.
any news on how big a file we can expect to download? I believe they said around 1gb if I remember correctly.
To bottom screen shot shows SoaSE as being 1.02GB
Hum good looks like my local EBGames saying they would have it on February 5th is looking fairly likely. Then again my EBGames quite often gets games late since I'm in Canada.
Been there a while ago doing research but I don't normally go there since I don't Overclock my CPUs/GPUs. Why do you ask?
