I still think moon needs a bit more differences from asteroid. They seem to be designed to fit quite well between planets and asteroid.

I think the problem that we are facing now could be solved by slow down the teching and defence build up in the AI script, while ramp up the ships production a bit. In my opinion, the AI should have a balance between defence, teching and ship building. The AI should constantly building up fleets, as a mobile force will do much better at defence than a few "stationary" Starbases. Also, i do think that the AI should only build Starbase at chokes, at

The problem with the AI, as far as i know, the AI tend to lay back and tech up to the best tech like Titan, Novalith, Insurgence, Kodiak and so on before they amass a large fleet to attack you, which cost a lot of money too. So, if you are the kind of player who prefer to attack early, which fit rebel's style, you pretty much have an upper hand until Novalith and Insurgence comes. Then, you might have problems holding off your own planets.

To be honest, i dont really like the AI for spamming LRMs only. Maybe throw in a couple more variety of ships like frigates, carriers and cap ships. Shouldnt combined arms be encouraged in this game? Playing against the whole bunch of LRMs isnt really fun. I am aware that LRM spam is a pretty commonly used tactic in MP, but i think something has to be done to encourage combined arms.

Hopefully the AI bug will be fixed soon. I cant play the Beta without a functional AI. All it does now is build lots of mines and defence, with no army at all. Even if they have, all they have is a small swarm of LRMs. I do hope they'll have different build order in the full game. Sometimes they'll go for full LRM spam, sometimes they use more Carriers, or a more balanced army at times. That will make the game much more interesting.
