Agree with all of the above. If anybody knows a buyer in the EU/UK, please tell them to get it in stock at GAME, WHS Gamestation, Virgin etc.

Guys do you have your services on automatic? Mine were active (Upnp and the other one mentioned in the sticky thread) but not on automatic and I got "connection failed:rejected by host" every time I tried. I messed with my firewall etc and it didn't do a thing, I was still getting rejected. Then I changed my services (start, right click my computer, manage, services) to be on automatic and can connect fine.

Guys I think you're all over reacting a little. Ok it looks like a pants position to be in at the moment, but wait for Canada to wake up and see if its an oversight, or a settings problem at the hosts end, or whatever. Throwing your toys out of the pram when you don't know the full situation doesn't help anybody. Sit back, relax and watch the cricket!

I started a small single player game as my first game and got panned. I was stuck on my planet with a huge fleet of pirates one way and the enemy the other way! There was no way my economy could match theirs. On my 2nd game, I went for a bigger map and made a big effort to push out my economy and planets so that I could actually afford to research stuff. Its a pain at the start if you get attacked as you're fleets usually miles away, I generally build a few turrets and then spam build

I got my email, about 7pm(UK). I downloaded it through their servers at 890kb/s !! I loaded up a single player game at about 8:45 to "test it out and get the hang of things" I went to bed at 2:45 and am gagging to play now. Love it.
