Hello everybody. I've played a few games so far. One or 2 with each of the factions, but I didn't finish a couple of them. I was just wondering what you guys do when you first get in the game? I build a capital ship builder and upgrade the asteroids around my base. At the same time I pump out 2 scouts and set them to explore. I've been enjoying the game a lot. I just had my first truly satisfying moment. I built one of each of the Advent capital ships and got them to level 6 or so. I put them all in the same fleet and then added a ton of support frigates. I then jumped my armada into the pirate base which was covered in ships. My fleet jumped right on top of the main pirate force. My computer chiugged once and all hell broke loose. About 10 seconds later the whole pirate fleet turned to dust. I'm not sure wh

Same thing happened to me. Reload the tutoial until it works. It will work eventually. I didn't find them all that useful anyways. Once you get the basics hop into a game with an easy ai and start messing around with stuff. Just make sure you get your free capital ship to fend off any would be pirates and try to outbid your opponent so you have enough time to experiment.
