from other AI
I still have a serious problem arguing balance in any 2vs1 scenario. A frigate rush just isn't feasible against an intelligent player in a 1vs1. It's just as easy for me to ass offensive ships/attack as it is for you to mass siege frigates and attack. There's absolutely no difference, except I'm scouting, and you aren't.

Now BOSKO I completely agree with. It shouldn't be one of the only tactics the AI uses. Unfortunately, I still disagree with you Prof. All of your arguments insist the opponent already has these fleets of doom built. Why aren't you destroying the labs as soon as possible? I can understand your complaint if you look at it purely from a "I want to be able to turtle and win this fight", I just disagree that ships shouldn't perform their function. If someone is willing to suicide
You can't build them in 30 seconds, but you can research them in almost that time. And I've lost a fully upgraded capitol to 12 with 8 defensive structures and a large fleet firing on them. Some survived the death of the planet, which tells me you could probably get away with 10 or less.
Again, why do all of these battles you refer to take place at your world? Likely because if the story was, "I jumped in to my opponents world while he was assembling his 12 siege fri
You can deflect all you please, but NEVER should ten CRAP SHIPS that you can build in the first 30 seconds of the game be able to bring down a HEAVILY defended planet system. Those 10 frigates are more effective then 10 capitals. How is that balanced? It's NOT.
And thank you again, for further proving my point. It's now 10 siege ships, which my defenses NEVER have a problem killing- AND within a whopping 30 seconds! Some kind of mod? Please provide a rea
thats why my fleet was WAITING for the siege spam attack.
Failure number 1.
Later on there was an occurance where my fleet was a few systems away when the siege spam arrived AGAIN and my defenses did nothing to stop the killing of my capital. This ALSO happened.
Failure number 2. Failure to deal with problem after initial, identical failure. You survived, why did you not relocate your fleet to dealing with the obviously greater
Funny, I thought he said his fleet was too slow to respond, that the enemy bypassed his other planets, and that the defenses he had did nothing.
Yeah, but stories change as you continue to argue in defense of a nerf. Always do.
He SAW the fleet coming. He had ALL his forces in system. The Siege Frigs take so much damage that they can sit under the guns of your entire empire and smoke the planet.
And we will continue to repeat, why was he sitting in his system WAITING for them to come? Why was he not ATTACKING them the moment he saw what they were doing? Or wait, did he NOT see them coming until it was already too late, and the fleet was already assembled? That's called a FAILU
boy, play against a decent player and i want to see how scouting helps u preventing siege frig runs.
I'd appreciate it if you could at minimum fix your English before you call other people "boy". As far as I can tell, ships don't TELEPORT to my planets. They do this thing called phase jumping. You can scout incredibly early in the game, and see siege frigates coming out when they are FIRST coming out. 1-2. A capital ship + some offensive ships jumping in while th
12 siege frigs rushed my capital in the first 30 minutes
Why, exactly, were you sitting in your home system for 30 minutes? That's the only problem I'm having with all these arguements. I've yet to have a problem SEE a fleet coming. Are you scouting at all?
