Anyone who is good at playing the Vasari - what is your starting strategy. The ships are very expensive. The downside definately seems to be the high cost and the slowly developing economy. I always end up trying to get my income coming in before upgrading fleet size and warfare research, etc. Anyone else have ideas?

-Raging Amish Thanks for the info. I did not notice anything about the effect on multiple ships on the info card but I will check again. How did you find that out?

I started playing the advent, but it looks like on the colonizing capital ship that if you upgrade malice it does not improve damage, cooldown, anything. Has anyone else noticed this? It appears that putting more than one point into it is useless?

Is there a way to increase the speed of ship construction. I tried building multiple military labs and multiple frigate factories in a gravity well but it does not seem to effect the speed of the construction? I heard that military labs help increase the speed of ships and civilian labs help increase the speed of infrastructure, etc?

I've just started playing the Vasari and noticed that in the first tier of research I can upgrade "collecting bounty" . When do you get to collect bounty, I thought you only put bounty on other players for the pirates?

I forgot to mention on the support carriers I usually go for a mix of bomber and figher squadrons. Between cap ships and the support carriers I usually have 10-15 of bomber and fighter squadrons (around 30). I've noticed most other players are favoring the heavier ships.

During a game I built a trade post at one planet and then one more at an asteroid four gravity wells away. All the wells were owned by me however when I moused over the credits indicatior in the top right I did not see a white line indicating the trade route. I was accruing credits however. Is this significant, do I need to create a trading post in every gravity well to get the white line to appear (is it important for the game to visually indicate your established trade rou

I played the TEC and used a colony ship to capture a group of extractors in an asteroid belt. When playing the Vasari it appeared that the same type of ship could not capture the extractors. Does anyone know how to accomplish this when playing the Vasari?
