I have to admit I did consider pirating the game and use it as a demo, but I've heard so many great things about this game from people I trust (like the guys at PC Gamer, and GFW), that it didn't feel necessary. With the weak dollar I really didn't have anything to lose when I pre-ordered. I've convinced two of my friends to pre-order as well (one of them isn't even interested in the game, he just wants to support Stardock's no-DRM policy), but a third is a bit strapped for cash, so he
