well it's quite easy to counter a spam fleet of frigs... at least as advent.. just get those cruisers that can push enemies away... much more fun.... and it can push an entire fleet of frigs all over the place... about 8 of them, should be enough to hold down over 200 frigs...

elysion, i must admit, i have never heard of any of those games... :) now back to dune II and sins.... i must say, dune II was the first great one... i loved that game... then i found moo2, and that game also made me play it for hours on end.. and now this, sins game, made me also forget time, and just game away...

i wholly endorse this idea.. make it an option you can chose, where it makes team members start next to each other.

please don't change the game... sure give the pure rts fans, who have bought the wrong game, a speed button that is go fasta red. but leave it at single player, so we don't have to start dodging click fest multiplayer games. i spent 5 hours on my first easy game, with about 16 planets. But that was due to 1 fight where i spent over an hour trying to take down a pirate base... of 400+´pirates...
hehe well let me tell you my story of my first easy 2 player game. after doing some quick exploring, i find out that a pirate base, is the central system, and the only way to get to my opponent. Great, i figure they are a nice buffer, that he has to fight through if he wants to battle me before i'm ready. So i build up, expandt to all the nearby planets. and when i'm all done, i send in my 20 ship fleet with 1 capital ship in it, to take out those pirates. I jump in, s
i love the pirates... but... played my first game today, on an easy map. Turns out, that smack in the middle, was the pirate system. And it was the only access point to the enemy players systems as well. So i was expanding, and doing my thing, and when time came to attack my opponent, i had to clear out 400 pirate ships first. Took me quite awhile to find the perfect strategy to clear out that many ships without any significant losses. after about 30+ mins of fighting, i h
