I think that a Evangelion mod would be a hit. xD
So many people would be left utterly confused after playing it though haha. That being said I love Eva. On the subject at hand Macross would rock!

I remember those days, and I still run privateer regularly off DOSbox, though I do play freelancer, X3, and I just picked up Universal Combat. I'm also excited about Jumpgate evolution. I tried Eve but there was way to much griefing for me, and I like to PvP too.

Well in my opinion, the only thing that needs to be done is to increase the size of the area affected by the PJI to the entire gravity well and increase its power or allow multiples to stack. Definitly though the PJI needs to cover the whole gravity well with no exception. Also the range on turrets could be increased as well. I'm not talking damage here, just range.

I dislike people who drop from games without a good reason just as much as everyone else. I will also not drop from a game just because I am losing. That being said, I will also not join a team game against a clan, nor will I let a clan join my team game. I am not in a clan, I do not wish to be, I have other things to do with my time. And as such I do not wish to play against someone who takes this game seriously enough to do so. That being said, if you are in a clan playing against someone

I love MOO: 2, and I love Starcraft(Can't wait for 2), but honestly this game is as far removed from starcraft as you can get without not being an RTS. This is the next best thing for quite a few of us on here since MOO 2, and personally this is the route that MOO 3 should have gone if they wanted to change things up. Don't give up, put some more time into the game before you completely knock it off your list. It was hard for me at first, but I'm an addict now.

Monk, I praise your efforts to help those who would put in the time to work around the net code and problems of this game. I know as well it's not easy to teach people what they need to know. I did not mean to offend with my post(if I did). My point was that for any game to be hugely popular it needs to be user friendly. World of Warcraft would not be by any means what it is today if every user had to go through what some people do with Sins to play a game. I do praise the devs and
The multiplayer aspect I havn't had much time using, for the chief reason OP ran into. 600 people online, yet 3 games are wanting players. Why after shelving out hard earned money am I required more work forwarding ports on my PC to enjoy it fully? Many people have no knowledge of PC workings, nor do they care. They want to play the game without troubles, as do I. Perhaps this will be changed in a future patch. Thanks~ShaunWhy shouldn't people care (be made to care) to acquire more knowled

Well the way I look at it, if he wasn't around, and if these movie big wigs had any common sense or ability to look at past movie budgets and profits of other video game movies, they would give the 70 million to someone with at least a good track record for making movies. Heck Uwe's financing was just considered illegal in Canada because they were tired of him spending all their bank's money on horrible movies.

Was there a tutorial you found to know how to do this? I would like to know, if you could direct me to an explanation or tell me yourself I would be forever greatful! Thanks! :CONGRAT:

Seriously who in their right mind is letting this man make more movies? I just don't get it...
Anyway, the planet should probably have lowered defenses, since anything on the surface would probably go down from a simple bombardment.
Well if you were to go by the assumption that the population is all in underwater cities, then the defense against planetary bombardment should be very high, becuase the water would act as a damper to any incoming projectiles. Just another way to view it.

Reply to Wipeout Pulse in Games

Heh Shadow_Warrior your prayers have been answered by Sony. Check this link out for a preview of Wipeout HD for the PS3. That being said, this game hurts me lol. My eyes can't keep up, but I love it all the same lol. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/821/821816p1.html

Hey guys, I just picked up wipeout pulse and it is an awesome filler for on the go when I can't get my sins fix in. But I was wondering if anyone on here who owned it has successfully downloaded the new content pack 1. I set up my account and followed the link but it says I'm not eligble. Go figure Sony support isn't any help. Any suggestions? Other than a laptop that can run sins? ?

Imagine an AI that uses a full core for it's processing, and that would just be on a dual core. On a quad you could have an AI per core, or two cores for AI one for graphics and the other for the regular game code. Fun stuff. Any devs want to comment on wether or not we will ever see this happen?

Thanks again guys, I'll do some more research into what board to get and I'll look into a board that runs DDR2 and DDR3 so I have the ability to upgrade when the prices drop. Thanks again all. This has helped a lot.

Well thanks for all the additional info guys, I don't want flame wars started over this. To clear some things up I do plan on doing level editing once I get this thing up and I do want a quad-core, so I will wait and grab the Q9450. However with that said, would the upgrade to a DDR3 ram capable motherboard be worth it? Also while I may overclock said processor, it is not a for sure thing.
