I appear to have gotten the patch. it has the lovely new correct version number and everything!

Ah Space carebears, my old nemesis. We meet again, but this time, the advantage is mine....go space ponies! Bwahahahaha. Well, at least now I know what that achievement is.
I like it. I intend to pre-order the game in the future, and the longer the beta is, the more players can have a hand in the end result. As an illustration student, I value having a bit of a creative hand in tings, and since community content seems a big part of elemental, I want to see that as well supported as possible. So hey, the more time it takes, the better it gets for me :)
Hm. soon after release I gave up playing in hopes that that the connection would be more reliable after some love from the people here. Looks like it's about time for me to start playing again...I hope.
Hm, I'd like to see favor items that level with your demigod. Start out weak and get more effective as you level :)
recieved it the day after realease. Awesome.
I think player drop is the only time ai is even in. When a game starts with them, it's because you couldn't connect to those players in the first place(they still have the usernames of those players).
Man...Erebus isn't really that overpowered. It's a function of items and how you play, and that can be said of any demigod at all. Admittedly, he can build a small horde of nightwalkers very fast with bat swarm, but, he's still the only general who has to actually fight to get his minions. Even oak can just drop his flag and run.
Erebus can build a pretty good army late game, and very quickly with a bat swarm. I've turned a game or two around that way.
Wow. you guys are the only company that actually TAKES responsability for it's issues. Very refreshing. No wonder your customers are so loyal.
That would be debilitatingly expensive. a general doing that consistantly is unlikely to have much gold for anything else, so just focus on the general and ignore the horde?
Actually, I already posted a comment on the gamespot video review requesting that they re-review the game at least a week from now. Funny that we had the same thought :P
Actually, I'm pretty sure there is a skill based matchmaking system. your probably getting odd matches because all the stats reset when retail came out. So everyones stats are almsot the same thus far. as people play that shouldwork itself out. Also, there is a network patch in the works already( I hear) that should fix most of the connectivity trouble. I hope that helps.
Agreed with Lyrad. Multiplayer is a whole different animal, and it'll take a lot longer to gain favor online, just by merit of the skill of the other players.
Stardock is already working on a patch to fix a lot of network issues. I wouldn't be to worried about it right now, almost every game has networking trouble when it first comes out. It'll be fixed soon!
I don't know for sure, but I THINK it's just your minions, globally.
Actually, I have a suggestion with the networking(but I don't know how code and stuff works, so forgive me If I'm being stupid) A problem I and a lot of other players have is being able to connect to some, but not all of the other players. If every player is acting as a host, why not rout the signals of people you can't connect to through people you can? literally treat them as a host in a client server setup , but just for the computers you can't connect to. Every
The update isn't up yet, just ignore it for now. It's for tomorrow, the actual release day for demigod.
Agreed, it it awesome. your servers are built like...I dunno...demigods :P
my best guess is an email.
Wow, must have taken a lot of work to crack even pretend copy protecion. Seriously. I never saw it coming. Seriously. Skilled bunch of pirates out there. Those copy and pastes are a harsh mistress :P
Hah cool, the rook model is warhammer-sized. it's so gonna be my new hq or something.
Well it's half working probably because the game hasn't REALLY been released, so online servers on the comany's end arent really up yet.
My wow factor (during beta at least, still waiting on final) came from the sense of scale. Even though all the models look pretty small while your playing, it still feels like your unleashing huge "demigod-y" powers and stuff. I think it's because even though everything looks small while playing, the textures are really detailed, so it just looks like your really high up, rather than looking like the models themselves are small. Anyways, it's a ve
Hell, I'm proud to have been a part of the beta (and of a community of people who wouldn't try to stick the game up on bittorrent somewhere), and I'm glad of whatever small contributions I've made.
