Please post it, I'm curious what has been added/changed/fixed to make the game more worthwile. :)

I only played the trial but I think it's a masterpiece in the way that they have created a really unique and huge story and universe. Though, because of it's complexity, I am sure it requires a lot of time and dedication to get into.
Hahaha, another one
Hey, you're partially responsible now. The topic is titled, "Sins vs. Eve". Sins, maybe by its fifth sequel, might match Eve in looks one day; that is, unless you guys want graphically satisfying chug fest.
And the subtitle is "Graphics wise". I compared the graphics, nothing more :)
Are people actually comparing SINS to EVE; a space simulator and a large scale RTS!? ROFL!!
Crazy, like they don't read the initial post..
Burn it, now!
OMG, taltamir you have no idea. Just because it sounds simple it's a whole different story when it comes to coding an additional feature, shitloads of work. Your ideas are neat, though.
Well I just looked at the EVE Online website (haven't been there for months) and I tell you something, the new Eve Trinity looks gorgeous! Just look at the [link="http://www.eve-online.com/screenshots/collection.asp?col=05122007&n=8"]screenshots[/link] and [link="http://www.eve-online.com/wallpapers/"]wallpapers[/link].. wow. Too bad Sins will probably never look like this but to be honest with all details enabled it's a beauty as well. So I guess what I'd like to say is, Ironclad, you don't hav
Strange that nobody mentioned it yet, but the avatars are not displayed when viewing this page with Firefox. Only IE users here?! :)
It can be tough, but worth all the treasures we find in here!
So Craig, have you guys made a first pre-selection of the things to add for 1.03?
Might want to read up on properly defending colonies before jumping to any conclusions about em if your new. Adding a few tips really makes a difference (placement, repair bays, amount, hangers etc.).
There is no proper building defense versus 50+ cruisers, that's a fact. I always run over like 19 defense turrets and a few dozen ships in the pirate system with even less ships (around 40) so I made the MOD to make it more of a chal
Should be somewhere like this: C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods\
You just have to put it in your mod folder, start the game, and enable it.
In the mods menu, next to the list of available mods, there could be a description box about the selected mod. Let's say if a description.txt file exists it's going to be displayed there.
I made this to make the game more enjoyable for me, maybe some of you guys like it too, enjoy! SinsMOD 0.01 Changelog - Construction bar color changed to white for better visibility when playing TEC - Scouts/Seeker/Navigator explore automatically after being built - 100% damage increase and 50% range increase for Gauss Defense/Beam Defense/Missile Defense - 100% range increase and 100% effect increase for Phase Jump Inhibitor Download [link="ht
Oh well, if it doesn't work too bad but let's see.
I was just about to destroy the Pirate Base with a nice fleet in their system when the next pirate raid was starting and the 20 or so raid ships popped out from nowhere in the Pirate system. Please change that in an upcoming patch, it's not like the ships are phase-shifting in from a twin-galaxy or materializing from nowhere, that makes no sense at all :D Let the pirates build their raid fleet one ship after the other, just like we players or the AI do.
Hi, I'm working on my MOD and I'm trying to figure out how to add additional information to the InfoCard. I found this in English.str: StringInfo ID "IDS_INFOCARD_STRINGINFO_HULL" Value "Hull:*SPACING100* *VALUE0* / *VALUE1*" What I would like to do is add another value like this: Value "Hull:*SPACING100* *VALUE0* / *VALUE1* (+*VALUE2*)" But how do I tell the game that is has to output another value? Right now it skips VALUE2 becau
1) Fix the construction bar color for TEC ;) 2) Put the Pause/Unpause Text in the center of the screen, make it larger and red!
You can be pretty sure that they will rebalance the siege frigate issue in the next patch, there are many people complaining about it. I'm fully with you with 2), it should be possible to lock down phase lanes, that would get rid of the boring phase lane chasing.
CPU and RAM are more than enough, not sure about the G35 Chipset though, but I think it will work.
unfortunately anything you change it to would affect either of the other two races, maybe the box should just be shaded darker there?
Yes, I wrote that in reply #16.
I just checked the research trees, everything looks fine :d
Well I just found out the the icons are differently colored depending on the race you play (I only placed with TEC so far) so recoloring the yellow progress bar would probably make it's visibility worse for the other 2 races. I guess the developers would have to add different color values for each race for a perfect solution. Anyway, if you want to change it yourself you can find the value in "Window\Colors.color", the lines are "minConstruction ffffff00" and "maxConstruction ffffff00"
The progress bar color change is a good idea - I wanted green but red works just fine. I was going to suggest red for the damage indicator to replace the yellow color.
I guess a not too dark blue would be even better (in terms of contrast), and red could then be taken for damage.
