My fear is if they stop doing microexpansions and start to work on a Sins-2 there may be a long delay before we see a product.
I agree. At that pace, if they need 1 year for a micro-expansion you can estimate 2 years for a mini-expansion, 4 years for a normal expansion and 8 years for a full game.

Fixed it! Impulse left some hidden files when deinstalling which corrupted every new installation I made. Got rid of them and now it seems to work fine. Thanks for no support and ignoring.

I agree, even if it's only a tad more that would be a lot better.
Still broken.. might wanna fix this anytime?
So how about they give out another coupon? Doing the work for them of testing an unfinished product should be worth giving every beta tester 20% off.
So now that Entrenchment really seems to be around the corner I wanted to order it with the coupon code I received from this survey a few months ago. Well now it says the code is invalid or has expired. I did the survey with the assurance that I could apply that coupon to Entrenchment, so what's up with this? Please clarify and give me a new coupon code if necessary, so I can order the expansion. Edit: OK, it expired on September I found out after some research. Fucked up, rea
Well, it still doesn't save any information..
They are understaffed in my opinion so all the delays are inevitable. I think the beta will come in January and will last until March from previous experience..
So I just wanted to update to 1.12 and as expected Impulse won't start. IC?
Is it possible to get rid of that global illumination and make everything more realistic?. i.e. darker, sharper shadows,..
3. Best Incredibly Complicated Simulation: Sins of a Solar Empire Expand, explore, exploit, exterminate. Become the master of the universe in this elaborate interstellar strategy game . "Epic" doesn't even fully encapsulate the scope of Sins of a Solar Empire . The depth of the gameplay and the customization options are amazing enough. But when you extrapolate them out o
Funny, I was about to suggest to remove all those Beta screenshots [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Did "Download and Archive" with SoaSE on Impulse, where is it saved? Also, why is SoaSE gone when I uninstall Impulse?? When I install SoaSE, why does it download the whole game when I just archived it somewhere on my harddisk???
I have the latest version of Impulse installed. I just looked at the problem with Process Explorer and it clearly shows that Impulse constantly starts and quits (color codes green and red). Uninstalling Impulse also deletes Soase, which is really stupid, so I don't really like to do it.
what's your system specs? let's compare and maybe we find a reason.. IC, have you come up with a solution yet? contact me.
Do I have to create another account in order to be able to login to ICO?
I downloaded "impulse_setup_full.exe" and made a fresh install and now things got even better... Instead of having 2 instances of Impulse popping in and out in the task manager it's now 7(!).
Starting Impulse as Administrator won't help either..
Problem still exists.. If you need a log file or something to fix this let me know.
Sure, but I like to stay around and play with the pirates a bit [e digicons][/e]
Well, I can only agree. If you go on and make a detailed list of your suggested changes someone can make a MOD (it really shouldn't be a lot of work) and we can see how it works out. I'm all for it.
I think the bounty box within the Mini-Underground Window should be hidden when no enemy is left anymore. It doesn't have a purpose when you can't set a bounty.
This is definitely a bug.. it don't see why the empire tree should show wrong information.
I wish I could kill the process but it starts an infinite loop, consuming 100% CPU time. IC, any feedback on this?
