You can edit a particle effect that shows the "shot" and the "recharge" effect after the shot ( for example 5 seconds long) later take a look to the entity files of the ship you want to mod and modify the "recharge" time of the weapon setting it as long as the particle effect you made. So it shots, recharge ( with the effects ) and it shots again each 5 seconds
Why not to add Pirates as a playable race in multiplayer games, they get money not from resources and commerce but only from destroyng ships and other player missions assigned. Would be funny Would be a great expansion for the gameplay
I modded Gameplay Costants to have a slow game ( movement speed, research and co. ) but i work a lot on balancing all the settings. I think that a slow gameplay is better for the singleplayer, slow movement let you spent more time on fleet micro management, for example is not easy for a recon starship to fly in enemy territories without an accurate path management, you can also manage the fleet position to flank the enemy ( with a slow turn rate when a starship is flanked is very hard
As it was introduced the "super speed" game mode, is not possible to introduce a "super slow" game mode? Thanks

I was workin' on but there was nobody to help me, so i started a tactical mod ;)
So, as i undrstood, is impossible to mod, for example, the front firearc in the way each spaceship is able to fire only in the front direction ( without any sort of impossible angle as Kol everytime does ) ? Thanks
I'm working on a mod that use a shorter weapon arc system and a very slow movement spedd for starship, to make a more realistic gameplay and more tactical the movement of fleets. Anyone knows were i can find the line about the weapon arc system? Thanks
