...I think he wants a GUI editor for the files, much like Galaxy Forge for the maps. :P At the very least, a list of ActionTypes and such would be very helpful.

The planets in SINS could very easily be heliocentric. You're only seeing one point on their orbits, after all. :P And why, pray tell, does "human" have to mean "In the Sol system"? The Honor Harrington series takes place in a sector over 600LY from Sol for the most part. And that's just one SF example. SINS is no different.

The PJIs don't have to lock down a fleet to be effective. They just have to stall it long enough for your defenses to attack or to re-position a fleet. Actually complete lockdown might be fine, *but only in the PJI radius*. So the enemy fleet CAN get past you, but they have to maneuver well outside the gravity well to do so. Killing off the possibility of raids isn't a good idea, as it removes far too many strategies.

Bombers are about the only unit in the game where you can realistically mass enough to murder a ship in a single pass. And unless you want to blow your entire cap count on carriers, you can't do that with the cap carriers.

And our opinions are that his are stupid. :P In my current game, I'm not even moving my ships to beat pirate raids. My defenses usually smash them away, and they're three to four times the size the OP QUITS over.

How is this done? At the moment I'm just disbanding and re-forming them every time...which is annoying. I know about auto-fleet, but I have too many for the ships to end up where I want them.
