Before sending the dmp file to support, want to ask if anyone else is seeing this issue... I'm trying to create a mod to change the threshhold of missions, basically removing them from the game. just my 2 sents here as well, So if I am reading this right the reason pji's were changed were because: 1: made it impossible to handle superweapons deep in enemy territory if they bottlenecked your forces. 2: made a "Well of death" in which an advancing fleet might pop in but could not get out. because of some large fleet in the area that would obliterate forces.
