I concur, i obtained the file from FileFront and the Devastator does not have 8700 shield. All Dominion elite ships use 50 fleet supply slots, which may give you any easy idea of the versioning but problems seems to affect frigates and cruisers. I also noticed that Dominion polaron beams seems to have a short range, this can be a problem as the other factions get an initilal salvo without taking damage, to devatating effect.
While talking about the B'rel, i've had a lot of fun with them using hit and run tactics to complete diplomatic objectives. Combined with the Martok voice over i can't wait to start hitting Dominion targets.
