Account name not found in Technical Sins Forums

Tried to play an online game to today. Tried to create an account in game, but would not let me create an online account until I downloaded a patch. Was not able to download said patch till I registered via https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/signup. Once I installed patch and tried to log in, I get and error saying the "Account name not found" and when I try to register in game, it says my cd key is in use. Who do I talk to to get this fixed or am I retarded enough that I maybe missing something
