Hello Community, I have recently been reviewing 7 deadly sins and Emire at war (especially the french strategy mod in waiting for the release of Nomada's 2.2 allicance mod) and felt like writing a review of the two games. Many have acclaimed SINS as being the RTS of all time, and I felt commentatin on the subject was due since I have offered suggestions to both mods and wish well equal success to both modding teams (danman games and Nomada_Firefox Alliance 2.2). Hey Danman, 1st off, outstanding work, been following your mod since day one, and cannot wait till next release. I myself am also a professional designer/artist and was wondering where one could go to learn how to do such things as texturing and creating/exporting 3d models. I have all the software, and actually own copies of 3ds max and maya (just sadly never got around to learning how to use those 2 programs). Great news Danman, can't wait for version 2 Hammerson, if your making models from the ships in X3, you should check out the mod for that game call Xtended, they had some beautiful models in that game, was so much fun to play.
Eville please create the mod in your own fashion, your vision for games is amazing, I have much enjoyed your HW2 mod and all the work you contributed to EAW/FOC. Just curious (and hoping), do you plan on including the following mods to your great achievement in the future: HammerRS, The Last Stand: Sins Overhaul, and Kriedger's Super Mini Mod? Eville, I was just wondering, since someone mentioned the Hutts, did you ever create a model for the Darksaber, Durga's short lived superweapon? I was just curious to see your take on what it would look like, and someone once mentioned to me that you modeled "The Eye Of Palpatine", is there any place I could visit to just see a picture of them, if they do exist? The Xtended Mod for the game X3 Reunion had some brilliant space scenes and special effects. This Mod looks awesome, many great ideas. I do hope that more than one titan class ship can can be created for each race, for it would really be helpful on playing on larger maps with multiple stars. I really hope you can find a way to create the outposts, especially differnt versions. It would be great to have a different model for placing one near a star than the same that would be next to a gas giant (i really hate that you cannot guard these areas as of now). Question about the Star Wars Mod... I can only assume to direct this question to Eville, since with all his past experience and fame, I figure he would be having the most to do with this mod. Is the intention to just include a few of the main Star Wars ships into the mod, or will there be a chance/attempt at including additional spacecraft into the game? I have been a big fan of all the work done with the game Empire at War/FOC, especially the mods such as Zerox's and Nomada's

Doesn anyone remember the game Imerium Galactica II? That was a great 4X Space game back in the day..., I was really disappointed when the the 3rd one was cancelled, and then Nexus 2 was later cancelled... why do space games have it so tough?
Great idea, the fact that the AI just jumps in and out between planets is very irritating. It would be nice to pursue an enemy and fight them back to thier home planet. I don't like that deep space cannot be colonized. It would be nice if you could have an open lane of space between planets with free floating repair stations and defense outposts along the way.
I am so happy that someone has suggested this, for I was just thinking of creating a post about this yesterday. A 3-Dimensional X3 universe would be perfect for this game, especially if the models from the Xtended Mod could be incorporated (http://www.thexuniverse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2721). I just hope that a way can be figured out how to include more ship types into the game. It would also be nice if the diplomacy could be enhanced a little bit so that it was a more useful tool
Hell everyone, I just got the game and its great, been playing it straight for about 5 hours now. I cannot figure out how to travel to other stars and solar systems. Can someone please enlighten me as to how to do this? I am playing a custom map I made, with about 8 stars, and lots of planets, but I seem to only be able to see and travel to planets within my original solar system. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
Does anyone know if it would be possible to replace a model of a star/skybox with an animated background of a blackhole? I think it might be really interesting to see a battle in front of a giang swirling vortex, while seeing particles getting sucked into the center. Is this even possible?
