Although Vista seems to be slower than XP with just about everything I do (not entirely unexpected) it runs Sins without any problems what-so-ever. 8800GT OC. Latest NVidia drivers.

Edit: Never mind. Love this game.

Which is too bad. I really wanted Steam Friends to see me playing Sins (again). Normal shortcut works fine, though.

Ah, my first computer; beige with orange. Don't know the brand but the joysticks (if you can call them that) had dials on top to move the enourmous bars with which you could bounce an enourmous square ball. The computer could only play tennis like games. After that some Atari model with space invaders, enduro and missile command. After that the C64, after that the Amiga 1200.

Thanks for the info. I will surely be able to use it. As it is I'm still trying the very basic stuff in XSI. I'm a bit of a n00b, you see :-). I'll make something real simpe, like some kind of sauser and I'll apply the stuff you just mentioned and see how it works out. Will look like *($% without textures and all, but it's a start. Sort of.

I'm having the same problems as you. There are, however, a bunch of tutorials about the most basic tasks in XSI on the net. Menu's and all that. It's hard if you don't know where to start though. I can make a basic shape and edit it some, but wouldn't know how one goes about making a spaceship for sins..

I wouldn't mind a more realistic view of a solar system instead of a bunch of planets connected to each other in a symmetrical way. Although there are some maps that look better. I've always hated symmetrical maps in any game. Although they're fair for every player, it just doesn't feel real. Hm, this post has nothing to do with the original thread. Sorry.

I'm afraid I might face the same poblem. Clearing customs might take up to a week and the last time I ordered from the US, customs taxed me 30 euro. 90 Euro for a game is way too much and I'm not sure I'll pick it up when/if it arrives. I'd like to have the box, though..
