Well I hate EA SPORTS and NFS titles, but other games r good. But I realy dont like a "must be every year with nearly no changes" policy.

Not the same... If you steal something in shop - its theft because the thing costs something to producer, so you stole his invested money in product... but software dont hurt to devs because there is no difference in pirating/not buying But i definitely like SD/IC policy and will fairly support it

If someone cant afford a game he cant play it? whats a difference to devs if he cant afford it and do nothin or pirate it and enjoy the game? with piracy - the priviledge to playing expensive games only if you r rich fall of. Im from Czech republic and I carefully choose who to support with money...depends on cost and quality of the game. So your theory about who can play and who cant is silly :)

the point is to prevent the stupid only-bombers-tactics which is kinda stupid - thats the main point
i think this should help: - increase max population limit on planets and objects and increase shelter effectivity - slow the bombers down so fighters can handle them - decrease bombers hull - it is in 1.02 patch but maybe it can be a little more.. - increase those phase delay machines and similar things... the point is that you must make bombers to be after-real-fight solution, where defence is destroyed - and only after that bombers can be deployed on battlefield t
yes but you know, if this game is divided to sectors (planets,asteroids etc.) it must be guardable like in any other game, otherwise dividing to sectors is useless. I HAD the fleet there for some reason.... Like when you playin chess and someone will go thru your figures like they werent there

Well its all about if devs wants to have fun/frustrating game. Nobody wants to play a chasing game... some guys can tell i must get used to it, but hell no! games are about relax and have fun, not learn a strategy which is boring/frustrating. Im a fan of epic fights too... look on screens from the game... big fleets against each other -> thats what people wants. I dont want only criticise, its very good game.. but needs debug a little
I hate when cpu ignores the first planet (well fortified) and head straight to next one - less defended (mostly the bombers O_o) they r so quick you cant catch them and when you arrive your planet is ruined
lol but i have 2 gb of ram and runing smooth on highest (except huge battles), but game crash in realy smooth time, nothing my machine cant handle..

actualy it wasnt planet with defence, it was in a star sector... I had only a fleet there
About the sustain of ships - it looks weird that the smallest vessel sustain a heavy fire from capital ship for quite a long time, in babylon 5 if a major cap. ship hits a small cruiser with main beam weaps the cruiser will crash immmediately into pieces...you know i dont want it so extreme but it can be better with firepower of big guns/sustain of small ships at least with capitol ships (especialy those major for direct combat)...

Hi everybody, I would like to post my opinion on this subject - battles (sorry for my bad english) 1. AI - its a big error that AI ships ignore human´s fleet in sector and continue to its target completely bypass human´s forces that r guarding the area... U know one day I left a capital ship and fleet to guard a forward sector and was managing my planets and so... and suddenly the enemy fleet showes up in my home sector in big advantage and decimate the area. It was very long cross line
Well im not that experienced player ( maybe 8h ), but my opinion on siege craft problem is: I think that for new players its big problem - Im happy it will be reduced. You can say that Im noob and must play a lot to be experienced - but I must ask: Is this game only for hardcore players (and betatesters) ??? I think not, and average player will welcome the change in 1.2 patch. Its mad to have so powerful siege ships without support so effective.
