re: Brainstorm Fix 1.02 has the typo fix for Brainstorm to remove debuffs on the target. I included it in the documentation for 1.00, but apparently didn't implement it. It hadn't occurred to me that there was a problem with the targets for the debuff removal until pacov and Ke5trel pointed it out.
Great, thanks!

so I'm a little confused now...are Koush and Ninki a team or not? And if not is Koush a free agent or not playing?
So Ptarth, did the Oc Brainstorm Purge make it into official 1.2? Thanks for all your hard work..
So who are the rest of you guys using or is that top secret? Orcun and I have one money combination but our backup duo of Sedna and TB hasn't produced strong results so far.
I'm betting UB/QoT, although I'd like to see your Rook/Reg ^^ The nice thing about this deal is that we should get some strong replays
woah...we are pretty close to 26 teams :D If this is single-elimination (it is, right?) that's four rounds, with a team getting a bye in round 1 and another in round 2. That round 2 bye is going to be worth its weight in gold though, seeing as it pops you directly into the semi-finals...
yah at work myself so I can't access these sites, but from memory it's something like: 1. Save Replay after game (In Vista I think the replay saves under Documents/My Games/Gas Powered Games/Demigod/Replays/YourImpulseName but I might be tangling it slightly) 2. Go to Game Replays website 3. Register and log in to the site. 4. Search 'Demigod' on the site to see other DG replays 5.&
If you look at it there are quite a few teams gonna be in this thing... I know there are some excellent players out there who aren't registered but for a first tournament this is pretty good, imo...
Yah read Daiwa's link, and also take some structural engineering classes. Kthxbye
Yah Silence is golden. I guess it depends on what you are doing. If you want to lock a flag then Shield III and Silence are great. If you are trying to kill someone then they aren't as good as the alternatives.
I feel like the OP is a zen koan - pretty much anything can be read into it ^^ So here's my take: Individual DGs, whether Assassin or General, are powerful in direct proportion to their stun and interrupt abilities and mitigation. Everything else is secondary. UB is the anchor of most teams because his stun doesn't trigger immunity. The strongest high-level team is Rook (boulder), UB (grasp), and Erebus (charm). Every DG wh
cool, thanks for clarifying
Quick question: Looking back on page 2-3 at Hedgie's system - UB/TB isn't a valid combo, but the chart we are using now allows it. Which is correct? Thanks
cool Ptarth, thanks. I figured this might get lost in the mod thread but I'll post there in future.
I fixed a targeting issue with Brain Storm. It should now remove debuffs correctly. It will be put into UberFix release candidate 1.02c.
Makes me think we should be using 1.02 in the tournament
with Uberfix does Brainstorm's purge work on stunned allies? Spit? Debuffs? Thanks
I can't wait til we get to the part in the story where Ninki ends up in critical condition in the hospital, he's going in for a risky surgery and his last wish before going under is that Morpheas will play the game, play one last time...for Ninki (gasp..choke) This thread is better than Days of Our Lives ^^
And my thoughts: 1. Prize money goes to winners only, or second and third place get a piece? Winner take all 2. We instituting a First Contact or 30 second Grace Period for game start? I.E. Monks stuck in citadel, extremely wrong favor choice, game takes forever to load, etc worth a restart? No grace period is fine 3. Who gets to select map side in game three and why? I think magnus' idea of shortest win time of previous two gam

ok team Teseer/Ke5trel is a go Fear our unstoppable DA/Reg team! [e digicons]:ninja:[/e] [e digicons]O:)[/e] Edit: There hasn't been any real criticism of the chart in a while. I say lock it down, post it in OP, and let's go with it.
Since it looks like progress is being made, here is my contribution to slow it. While it is a community norm not to allow duplicate demigods on the same team, I think we could safely relax it for some pairings. Double Demon Assassin, QoT, Regulus, TB, all seem fair to me.
Have you ever played against two Heaven's Wrath Snipe Regs? Or had two DAs leapfrog swap you almost to their crystal from midmap?
yah macc put you guys on the list in the other thread
McShane and I are a team now I guess. As for third round choice, in every competitive game I've ever played the team that did better on average in the first two rounds got their pick for the third. It only makes sense. By the current purposed rules this scenario could happen: game 1: My team loses after a 1.5 hour very close-knit game because of a small mistake at the end game 2: My team obliterates the
pacov, I think brandon is responding to #103 from howboutnooo. You can probably leave Jorune and Ouch up as a team. On team selection: the fact that there's no clear consensus makes me feel better about the chart as it stands. I vote to keep it. I am a little sad that the format changed, though, just because I doubt we will see many DA or Reg at this point and those two are so fun to play..
^Then might as well ban QoT too. Haha nothing personal but these restrictions to me are still pretty ridiculous. It's like going back to when Demigod first was released and everyone picked Regulus and all these crappy characters because they were somehow OP since no one really knew how to play. Meh, why am I even complaining, it's not as if I'm taking part in it anyyyyway.
OK just to clarify - When y
