I rather think im having the same trouble after the v1.02 patch. vista quad core d6600 twin 8800 ultras in sli 2 gig ram full settings. Repeated crashing to windows happening. :( Just when I wsa getting a handle on the game. Oh well back to Crysis. Which is working jus fine ;)
Apologies for double post. I just meant that he wasnt responsible for 'running' the Empire like we do in Sins in terms of economy, diplomace etc. Great book though. Only read Ender's game, you guys recommend the rest of the series?
I definately see where you are coming from, but wasnt Ender more about controlling individual engagements? I dont think he oversaw the whole war effort. But if 'the game' did cover whole interstellar conflicts, then it probably would look like Sins! Remember - The enemies gate is down!! (or was it up :p) Roo

For those publishers out there! The following countries are wondering why you are not selling this great game! UK Holland Germany Denmark Norway Finland Middle East Spain France Belgium Lets get that list bigger, and maybe with some help from Stardock, get some publishers noticing!
I think Stardock is one of those rare 'By gamers, for gamers' companies. I heard that they were great during the beta testing, listening and reacting to all suggestions. I think its the way of the future, with digital publishing the feedback process can continue in a much better way than before, and updating is easier. Maybe this stems from the role MMORPGS have taken in terms of feedback. Either way, it means better games, and games that get better! (slaps wrist for cheesy comment) <b

Welcome! I meant this as a global forum for support not just the UK. The digital purchase system works just fine - smooth, pretty quick operation so I would recommend that! It was bizarre for me on release day... Saw it was out on the website. Searched Game - NOTHING! Amazon.co.uk - NOTHING! Not even a pre-release date. Im from the Uk and bought the game yesterday. It totally blew my mind. 4 hours went by and I was still messing about on 3 planets! Absolutely awesome. So why haven't European publishers taken this up? Are there other europeans out there who love this game? I dont get why with all the crap that makes it onto the shelves in Game stores, a game of this high calibre would get ignored. I just cant understand why, when there are movies out there like 'Straw Dogs' and the whole 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' series, people can blame a game that makes a major focus on moral choice! Sorry if Im just echoing views. Blind religous based censuring really grinds my gears.
I loved the freespace games. Could never get the mod for homeworld 2 to work. Would love to see a mod for this. Have no technical skills but can write storylines/characters if it could help! I have a British accent hence could do voices for the bad guys? :p
