Should i be able to max the graphics ? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I noticed that the game put itsel on reduced graphics when i started the game. Does the game auto-detect the PC and ajust the graphics on its own ? Should i be able to max everything with the following PC : - AMD dual-core 5600+ - 2 gig of ram - Geforce 8800 gts 320ram thanks for you answer
