I just want to thank the Dev Team for stepping up and making this game less of a LRM spam fest. I find the new carrier dynamic interesting and entertaining. I haven't played since 2 weeks after release when I got board of thrashing 5 different keys in order to swamp opponents with LR spam units. As you know a little balance needed with the flack frigate aspect. Hopefully the strategy depth will continue to get deeper. <

TRY THE MODS.!!!!!! The game fails to be a long term entertainment. It ain't nothing but cat and mouse at choke points... I personally HATE the idea of phase lanes. Its SPACE for crying out loud. The WHOLE game would be better if Space was OPEN ENDED with no phase lanes AKA NO choke points but better planetary defense.

After playing for several weeks I would like to ADD: The A.I needs to be more challenging! No one really should be able to take on 3 Hard A.I with locked teams with 3 against one and no pirates. thanks!!

Against AI cap ships can be a help. Against an attentive human they are LAUGHABLE. I have seen a group of 15 top tier frigates or LRMs take down level 10 Cap ships in less than 30 seconds. IMO cap ships need a higher levels to make them worth while.

For starters this in not a rant but these are suggestions. :D From an RTS stand point I am sure you have had your fill of feedback. My stand point. the Unique abilities of units needs to have more impact to stop the SPAM stradegy that appears to be the sure win at this point. MY 4X and RTS suggestions. After playing many games there is little to look forward to in the next game. AKA rush resources and spam units. the whole bidding thing with pirates is interesting

I love how they can wreck a planet for the cost of nearly nothing and if you want to counter the silly things you have to send in a MASSIVE Fleet! A couple of things 1) Large maps and mega wars make cap/scaling off balance: a) The role of capital ships gets dwarfed in a massive battle. b) Planetary defense becomes next to worthless when you have 100+ships attacking. - this makes defensive players sitting ducks. - There is no home team advantage making the game offensively bent. c) Capital Centers influence is not effective enough.<br/

I love this game but some serious cap problems are starting to crop up. I know that this Issue is being covered in Multiple threads and would like to see some suggestions here. An official Cap balance needs to be released. 1) Capital ships lose their value when 16 ships gets overshadowed by 2000+ other ships. Whats the point. Just wanted to bump this issue. Last night I took 300 zerg ships against 10 capitals + 50 zergs. all one has to do is concentrate fire of all the zergs on the next ship. Capitals died in about 10 seconds each. GUESS WHO ONE>?? The balance just gets so thrown off when the scale is huge. I don't even build capital ships anymore.
