I figured out if u have the money and the resources---forget about hangar defenses and their 4 tactical slot replacements. i grab a lot of Carriers (the ones that contain single squadrons). Not only do they allow u to open up 4 tactical slots, they can move into other gravity wells as well.Granted, they dont have as much armor, but imo manuevurability gives them more of an advantage.
I just first want to say Sins of a solar empire is an amazing game, and it truelly is addicting and incredibly fun. To my second point, I have fallen in love with the TEC, and have found myself unable to play as the other races (i know i should...). My question is this: What techniques do you use as TEC? how do u usually tech up? What strats do you use with cap ships, reg units, and defenses? I would love to hear from all of you.
