I've been reading this forum on and off for a while, and one of the things I've seen people asking about pretty regularly has been the ability (or lack thereof) to create a custom name list for planets and capital ships. I have to say I'm surprised that with such an active community, no one has yet created a mod to simply create a list of names that would be applied automatically to ships as they are built. (Or have they? I've been looking, and haven't bumped into one). Admittedly, it isn't a HUGE hassle renaming each ship, but it would make things a bit more enjoyable, don't you agree?

Hi, everyone. I read about this game at penny-arcade, and it piqued my interests, and I started looking around. One of the things mentioned in passing a few times is the customization of ships.
