Dont forget to mention the gigantic economic advantage you had in our game Hunting. You always seem to omit that.

It was us.
Im not even in the clan and that is dumb.
5 minutes to one, show up now!
We've been challenging people nearly every day and no one has responded. Anyway, Either GE or eZily should be good, whoever gets on first at 1 P.M. PST for a 3v3 on Fulcrum will get a game with us.
We've been playing some games on ICO, and it seems like people are generally reluctant to play against an all clan team, so its harder for us to get bigger games going. Plus, its not really fair to play against pug teams with an all clan murder squad. Im guessing that the best way to get a good challenging game would be to play another clan. If anyone here is interested in playing a 4v4 with us, POST HERE.
Against 300 of the finest that Sparta has to offer? Spartans can phase shift you know.
We are MEN OF SPARTA
Is that whole line about LRMs being unstoppable early game a joke? Instead of getting illuminators, Advent get Drone carriers at tier two and are incredibly effective against LRM frigates. And trust me, Advent can get a shitload of fighters, enough to put a TEC LRM spammer in its place. Also, any player worth his salt can easily micro his fighters to stay away from the flak frigates and make them chase. Also, why go for Radiance or Progenitor when you can get Revalati
Lords of Sin |LoS| is a new clan in the Sins community with a good group of leaders that are ready to take ICO by storm. We have a fully paid ventrilo server set up that has about 20 slots along with a forum for strategy and mindless mayhem. The Marza can be disabled by an Akkan's Ion Cannon, along with the fact that Akkans can colonize. Sova Carriers are always incredibly useful because of their missile batteries that can help turn the tide in early game fights, along with the fact that it will help you clear stubborn native pirates in an easier manner. The reason i choose the Akkan over the Marza is simply because of its utilitarian nature. Colonize, damage increase, and Ion Cannon (a disable, a damage bonus, and a planet
Like peace and trade vics? I can see the winning percentages of a million players just skyrocketing.
Yeah not surprising, ive notcied that Garda Flak Frigates chew holes in my LRMs whenever i visit uncolonized worlds. Still though, LRMs can destroy them pretty easily, i wouldnt say they're anti-LRM; thats why you have fighters.
Ok, so i watched your TEC startup and most of it seemed good; it mirrored alot of what i do (although to be honest, that is quite standard.). Choosing a Marza Dreadnought as your first ship is not the best choice. You can micro your Radiation Bombs, but if you really want to put the enemy in its place i would reccomend the Akkan for its Ion Bolt and colonize (cant forget Targeting Uplink either), or the Carrier cap ship for its fighter support which alot fo people cant defend against in
Protip: Turn autocast off for all of your abilities. The AI will waste your antimatter.
The way i see it, i try and nab as many asteroids as possible before i begin colonizing my planets. They're cheap, bring in income, and dont require building two Temples of Harmony to operate them. This can lead to a larger starting fleet (which the Advent desperately need to live early game) making clearing planets a breeze. By that time you should have already been able to build the two Harmonies needed to colonize the planet, along witht he fact that the increase in revenue will allo
Im sympathetic to the timer suggestion. Good idea, it works a compromise.
Its not about the force of the pirate's attack, its the knowledge that they will tie up your fleet for a certain amount of time to keep you from expanding at a rapid rate. Its also a good way to punish people for overexpanding. There's also multiple strategies to attack at the same time the pirates are to divide your opponent's fleet. Whoever says they're useless isnt thinking hard enough.
This has probably been said but once you know a novalith is active, you have to get rid of it. The same goes for all races superweapons, its not wise to let them sit around.
I was playing as Prakt1kal, i just have a good memory of who i play.
This game is pretty balanced, stop whining about OP'ed units because there aren't any.
Hah,i remember playing you Rokkit. Get better before you start clan play.
Usually the right way to go is to use these cheap little guys to screw up your enemy's targeting. Let them soak up the damage: they can be replaced easily and have little xp gain for enemy cap ships. Of course you want to have supporting missile frigates to mutilate your enemy's task force but hey that's obvious.
