Also haveing a problem where the game crashes after adding my map. It seems to be after i change the version mumber on the filetype. If its Version 3 then it crashes, version 0 runs, but the maps not there. Have done the nessary with Glaxay.Manifest Idears anyone before i e-mail support?

in the table top game a large ship being destroyed in its death throws could cause damage to surounding ships. Friendly or hostile. Could (or would people want) this implemted into the game?

just had an epic game with my mate him Varsari, me advent. We had drove each other to stale mate on a small map so we decided that he would attack me on home planet to try to take it down for a laugh. HE had a average fleet, 6caps, but about 25bombers/20fighters. My defence was maxed, with about 27fighters a few caps and lots of mines. First he flet in and went to the back of the planet that had no mines and kept hitting me with bombers trying to take down hanger bay

he has a point on the cleansing brilliance, ive often used it on the rear ship of a densily packed fleet and it seems to find all the gaps between the ships :(. Ships rarely sit in a nice line to be shot at

yea, seems a sinple thing to add. And playing team games would be much eaiser. It shouldnt need to be part of another expantion, most (if not all) strategy games let you place your teams for the first eddition.

I got sins when it first came out, been playing it a while and have noticed that after the new update the CD was not required to play the game. I have just got a new laptop, one of the small ones with no CD drive and was wondering if it were possable to play the game on the laptop with the game that i own. I reckon its possable as you can download the game and play it like that, but any idears on how to transfer the game over that i already own? Ta.

HI, Not been playing with sins since about July as I felt the game play became repetive and I didnt like the way you could not expand without leaving your flanks exposed for a fleet to come round and make a mess of things. However... Entrenchment looks like it will change all that, so i might even go and buy it. But my internet is a mobile broadband one and i would rather buy the box in a shop than download a large file. Does anyone know the file size?

I tend to go by location on the map. IE: Rock Sun = rock planet next to the sun. Ice north/south. It means i can know where problems are. works for me:) Appart for my home world usualy Yanis Wair

Iconus Guardian: -Repulsion is now a channeling and interruptable ability. Realy not very happy about that. I get the image of a very narrow channel to keep ships at bay rather then the sphere it is now. That has got my advent fleet out the smelly stuff many a time. Do we know how narrow the channel will be and how easy it will be to inturupt? Lovin the extra strike aircraft on the carriers though. :)

Yep, its good ;) I got to grips with the AI fairly quickly when i first got the game, played on hard from my second game and felt that it was missing somthing. Playing with the new version with the unfair aggressor AI seems to make alot of differance. Into my second game with the update, first game I played I went for TEC Vrs the other 2 races. It went badly for me and I lost, faily quicky by all accounts. Not a problem I

Try using the blue or Green sun. I think its ment to make a differance to the backrounds, but its hit and miss when i try it.

Now before you all rush to post "go to the main screen and click...." I am running sins from another computer thats not online. Is there a link so I can download the update from this computer onto a usb stick then move it accross to the other computer? Also where will it go in the files when i do? Thanks PS: No, its not eaiser to connect the other computer to the internet. It really isnt!

I got mine from Gamestop.com placed the order before it was released, it was sent out via UPS on monday, arrived wednesday morning. It was £10 for delivery and yea customs take a chunk as well. grr

IF you are in the UK I can reconmend ordering from Gamestop.com I got mine send out on the monday of release, and it arrived on wednesday morning. Bargin for £10 delervy charge! As it comes via UPS you get a tracking accout with them so you know where it is at all times :D

Well advent can view other planets a distance from their system with one of the cap ships. And im always getting scout ships passing through my planets so they can see that way. Plus with the right research you can see ships making a jump.
