to Yarlen or anyother Stardock moderator, what other information would you need to help solve my issue?
I have the same issue. I have been playing many other games with no issues at all...and its been almost a month with no solution.
Would the download version have anything to do with it?? Maybe the hard copies do not have this issue?
Yes, I have lowered the graphics, I have tried every graphic settings, I have played it in windowed mode, I have switched SLI off, and back on again, I have changed screen resolutions (normally run 1440x900ish). I stopped playing, hopeing for a patch or something to fix this. Haha I cant believe its been almost a month and no updates to fix this. The couple of minutes that I got to play look amazing, especially with all the graphics maxed out...it runs smoothly, but then it freezes.
I turned off SLI - I actually played the game...for almost 5 minutes...then I froze. Ill keep checking the forums to see when this will be fixed.
I do have SLI - Ill try turning that off and see if I can play :) btw I have been crashing in tutorials, single players, main menu, options, and Ive tried low to highest on the effects screens to no avail. running XP with Dual NVIDIA Geforce GO 7900 GS SLI 512 MB cards
I bought a digital version and downloaded it, updated w/ 1.02. After about a minute of playing - tutorials, single player, or just looking around the options menu - the game freezes, I can not alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del and close it, but I have to turn off the comp and try again. I tried uninstalling the game and re-downloading, and re-patching - same thing. I am running XP on AMD turion 64, 2.41GHz, 2.00GB RAM, dual 512MB NVIDIA geforce go 7900 GS(updated drivers) Any suggestions...?
