Does the Kostura actually do anything to starbases? It didn't seem like it . I fired at a few star bases and all it did was pulp my fleet. I guess it also makes the area a phase stabilizer but not for sure how long it does it for and if it takes a while for it to work. Either way seems like a fully defended area with an Orkulus (and possibly repair bays and hangar defenses etc etc) is going to be near impossible to take out considerin ghow long it takes you to upgrad

This seems awfully out of date to be stickied. Doesn't the Dark Fleet / RA cost money now? I saw a bunch of other inconsistiencies as well. Maybe update for entrenchment too?
I've been building orbital refineries as TEC but when I look at my Metal/Crystal income they don't change upon completion. Am I misunderstanding how they work? The actual Crystal/Metal techs, as well as the increased ship hold techs all increased metal/crystal but the refineries (and I'm up to 4 or 5 now) never seemed to do anything.

I built this in a 2v2v2 game the other night on gateway with a friend of mine vs 4 ai. I don't see the purpose of it. The manual makes it out that it kills stuff and its a big deal but it appears to do 0 damage to the planet and 1-2 hundred to ships around it and then disable them for a few seconds. Is the novalith cannon much better? The Kostura definately doesn't seem worth it. Also what are the super special abilities for each faction? The Vasari get the Kostura
