I just want to say that nothing makes a game more intense or enjoyable quite like being the focus of a trash-talker's attention. It just fills the game with life and energy. Obviously, racist commentary has no place in a space game, but basic "LOL U SUCK" or "ROFL NUB NICE FLEET" can really ratchet up the intesity of a game. To be honest though, I'm more used to WoW and Dota, where trash talk is not only normal, it's a fundamental part of the game. :D

this was 2 days ago.. I wasn't able to colonize it

I lost a multiplayer game because I tried to eliminate the pirates.... turns out you can't even take out their base had me pretty frustrated
