I would like an [B]observation mode[/B] while playing the game. Not just for multiplayer, i'm talking about allowing the players to create a game where you don't own a faction but you can view every other AI player and watch them play. Its a useful tool for learning the game, imagine 100 planet battles and how long those games would last, great learning experience. Give us a viewable log as well so we know what actions each faction takes, like technology they pick and when, buildings they cre

Im not talking about making everything super lightspeed like even the movements of the ships, i'm talking about faster build times, faster research, faster planet upgrade times. Make it faster so i don't have to sit here for 5 hours and have everyone quit before the battle starts. Thats not going to make a difference in computer hardware just by increasing those times. I don't like how the AI puts things right at the edge of a phase jump so when i get attacked those buildings get totally wasted, why not put them near the planet? The tactical things as well, why not put the cannons in a ring around your planet, instead it puts it in one location, and leaves half of your planet vulnerable. I just turn it off and do it myself. I didn't read all of the replies, but yes there should be a better ending and you should be able to unlock some cool features.

I think the game is great but multiplayer takes too much time, i ended up with a 3+ hour game. Even on fast settings, it takes way too much time. This may be ok if you "know" the people in real life you are playing against, but casual games with people around the world are not feasible, because continuing the game later is not guaranteed to happen because everyone is on different schedules. I end up dropping the game for more important matters. There may be some of you out there
