I always name my ships regardless of the race i play. The names are drawn from all sorts of Sci-fi sources, like warhammer 40K or star wars (the list is pretty short because i usually make the names up as i go along) but most of the time it's in the line of : Litany of Fury (DoW II anyone ?) Righteous Wrath Beacon of faith Emperor's light then it's star wars star destroyer names like Chimera Death's Head ... and so on

Granted, you become a genie, spending millenia inside your lamp and only coming out when some idiot rubs it, and you get bored to death because people always wish the same things, and you hate it. With time you become a bitter and nasty genie and start corrupting the wishes of all the people rubbing your lamp. In the end, you make so many enemies that specialized genie killers come around and lock you in a boring blank dimension for all time. I wish i could freeze time, to be able to
RTS, i love to boss grunts around and have the satisfaction of seeing the enemy totally and completely crushed under a mass infantry, tank and artillery assault. also, FPS are fun in the short term, until i finish them and then i'm bored. A RTS lasts waaaaaaaayy longer (I also love being called general, or commander, it flatters my ego ^^)
