Also how do the graphics compare to previous space RTSes like homeworld 2, hegemonia, nexus, ect? I noticed in some screens it looks really nice but in some other screens it just looks like homeworld 2...

I'm planning on getting this game soon and I was wondering what the explosions and damage modeling were like. Do motherships gradually flame puff and vent then explode into one big fireball and send debris flying like in homeworld 2?
