Hmm i was afraid of that, while i have absolutly no clue how to model ships or use any of those programs (though if you know a good begginer program for modeling and or a tutorial that would be awsome) I am fairly decent at drawing and can provide scans of drawings on potential ship models if anyone is interested in doing the modelling. I will endevour to post some tommorow as its fairly late now
Hey i origianlly got this game loved it and all its expansions but forgot about it for awhile, one of the reasons i stopped playing after awhile was the ugly (in my opinion) ship desighns for the factions. while some of them were good an looked professionally done many seemed to be done by substandard talent (yes i know small studio, costs must be saved) just wondering if there are any mods out there that offer different skins for the various faction's ships as though i love pretty much every

Just wondering how to use this Advent ability to its best affect as I have read how it can kill large swarms of units. The problem is whenever I use it against densce fleets or anything in general it always seems to do dmg to just the ship i'm attacking and doesnt seem to obliterate large numbers of units as I have read about. Any tips on how to use it and or with what other ability would be great.
really you have to explore planets, i must be seriously unlucky then as i have been playing hundred planet games and explore every planet i conquer and alas no ponies for me (:(

I have just started playing the advent and have to say that if you can upgrade radiance battleship so that it has the animosity ability that makes units target it and put it in a group with a rapture battlecruiser that has vengance(fully upgraded does 120% of the dmg taken back to the dealer of the dmg and can be cast on any ship) then one can easily plow through most things as long as one has some iconus guardians healing the radiance battleship. hey thanks guys, I was just wondering if i should bother putting more then one broadcast centre per planet, but now taht seems a rather useless move. The thought just came up as I recently found out that trading port bonuses are stackable so I though maybe the same thing applied for culture and research.
I was just wondering if broadcast centres give more of a bonus if more then one is built on a planet, I am just wondering how to get my outer colonys allegiance up as its only at 35% granted I am playing on a 100+ world map. The second question has to do with research stations and should more then 8 be built to unlock everything in the tech tree. I was wondering if the more stations you build the faster the research gets done. Any help would be appreciated
