Whether or not infinite fighters is realistic, carriers would be useless without them. 1 squadron of fighters, and then you have to go home to restock? You would be better off just building a ton of disposable frigates.
ParrotPatrol
You know you play too much Sins when the game hasn't been out a week and you are already making goofy lists.
And then? I still can't edit the values because when I open it up in notepad, there aren't lines, its all jumbled together and I can't find the designated values.
THe pause key on the keyboard pauses the game Cinematic mode removes GUI extras like phase lanes, gravity wells, icons, etc ctrl+shift+z removes the Panel display, markers, pinup thingy on the left, This removes everything the Cinematic mode doesn't
Seriously? I have been playing the game so much I'm too tired to notice this crap. The request about the tech tree stands, however.
I would like to see a pause button, and a button that temporarily removes the GUI, so I can take some good screenshots. I would also like to see the ability to limit tech trees at game start, so if you wanted to, you could have gigantic carrier battles, or just have battleships slugging it out. Maybe even just Attack Frigates, and see them come together in a massive FPS chugging battle.
What file are you using to open and edit the values? Whenever I use a text editor, I get symbols.
Obviously you have never seen Robotech, sir.
Show a ship can build fighters from nothing or perform massive repairs on it's own without parts and fabrication/raw materials is beyond me... too much magic for my tastes, even when you factor in super advanced fantasy elements like nanotech or more.
I like to play carrier fleets, can you elaborate on the editing here?
Did you even bother reading? They give you a good 6-10 links to choose from! That was the sample image you grabbed not the actual.
No, Bubb, I didn't read. All I saw was take a pic, get a shirt. It was ONE IN THE MORNING. I grabbed my roomate and his camera and we went on a little field trip.
Thanks again for making a game that got me back into 4X.
Ha. ParrotPatrol here, at the Boone, NC Gamestop from which I bought Sins earlier today! Its 1 in the fricking morning, and its cold...I could use a shirt. A...t-shirt even. PS: You never said the store had to be OPEN! Can't seem to get imageshack to post any larger than that.
Heres, the thing, I haven't played multi yet, can you just jump in and out of the game as if it were a persistent world? Because games may take days, but I seriously doubt someone would stick around that long.
Will this even work?
