I must admit, I was a little disappointed by the relatively small research tree in Sins of a Solar Empire - it's more a lean towards tech-trees in RTS than 4X games; take the MASSIVE tech-tree of Galactic Civilizations II, for example. I was looking forward to something more like that. So I think a tech-tree extension mod is a brilliant idea.

Before I go ahead and buy the digital download version, I was just wondering if I would be able to download it more than once - I'm just worried that my computer my crash on me in the future, in which case I would lose all the data on it and therefore the game. Or if I ever decide to buy a new computer - will I still be able to download the game, or will I need to buy it again?
