Advent's best tech, Mass Transcendence if I remember correctly, under the harmony tree auto-levels your Cap ships to their trainable level cap (lev. 4 if you buy the upgrade) and then gives 50% bonus XP in combat, so if you go after a pirate base or two with just cap ships they will all be max level before the other races. For this reason I really like Advent, because I prefer to spam Cap ships and not worship the almighty LRM, which is a noob tactic. You have to have some semblance of economy

Ok, so i've had the game for 2 days now, and just trying to get a feel of it i've played 2-3 games, each time with a different race. I have only played the comp so that I can get a feel for the game before matching wits against a real player. Unfortunetely I haven't tried on the same map each time so my strat isn't always based around the strengths of my race, but also around the situations the map calls for(gas cloud for example).
