aggressiveness pays off

I meant small 1on1/2on2 maps. A well executed Assailant-rush will give you a hell of a hard time and will most likely result in a loss. And the Revelation isnt particular against a LRM/Assailant-rush, its an overall better choice early on, thats why it paid off ^^.
Advents early game sucks so much. therefor i take the Revelation early on(Reverie). And its the only thing that actually paid off mutliple times in an LRM/Assailant rush.
small 1v1/2v2 maps: Buy 2x Crystal (at 300); Build Capital Shipyard; Build Crystal Mine; Build 2x Scouts; (Queue up Capitalship (Revelation,Radiance or Progenitor)); Build Colonizer; Look at your credits, if all 2 Assembly Drones are building, build a Disciple, if one Assembly Drone finished building, build a Mine. Repeat until no Metall/Crystal spots available. Build Disciples. Scuttle Cap-Shipyard. Scout enemy, if hes going LRM/Assailants, go Defense
Disciples + Illums suck (Illums come far to late + their dps is shitty). The carrier approach wasnt very succesfull either (they just die like flies, are expensive and as soon as some cobalts are near them u have to jump them away if u dont want to lose them). To me the Disciple+Defense Vessel approach is still the most viable (that doesnt mean that this one is better as a assailant/LRM strat). What i found to be more useful early(the critical part), is to use the Revelation just bec
Anyone building temple of harmony early on a small 1v1/2v2 map really fights the wrong opponents. Currently to me the best to go with is Progenitor(Shield), disciples and defense vessels. Asap spam defense vessels if the opponent is going LRM/Assailants. Make sure to get the first shield techs, the rest is up to you and your opponent.
Just wanted to bring up a thread about viable cap choices on small-medium 1v1-2v2 maps (maps where most of the time ur starting cap is the cap which fights the battles that matter). Recently (after a player quit) i got bored and started looking at the different Cap-Ships. Playing as Advent most of the time, I usually start off with a Progenitor (Shield heal ´+ economic advantage is very good in the early game). Seeing that many take the Radiance as an early anti-cap cap choice im curio
I hate it when they quit just because you have an agressive playstyle and dont want to play the settlers with them. The best thing would be if this guys learnt how to play.
and why are u killing of the ai if every game means nothing?
I think the game wasnt intended to be played like the settlers ^^
