I know this isn't much help, but as a comment: My 360 will also do this. When on the Dashboard it is fine, when I play certain games it is fine, but when playing other games (Shadowrun one of them) I get the terrible buzzing sort of fan noise. Also some friends of mine have noticed it as well, and it is only from 360's that have been returned after going wrong...

I know a lot of people don' like the superweapons because they are sort of... "hidden" and kill everything from a safe distance. I think a mod that took out the SWs and replaced them with super powered super capitals would be great!

Perhaps the idea of a single placement interdictor could be possible(a structure)? Like the large dovin basals used by the Yuuzhan Vong. Would suck ships out of phase space int the middle of a jump? (Sorry if this has been mentioned already, I was lazy and have only read a few pages...)

I like the idea of the planet flipping. Perhaps once an enemy allegiance gets to a certain point a superweapon should have another extremely expensive skill that flips the planet. Perhaps this could take say 10 minutes to finally take effect once the skill is activated so the enemy still has a chance to regain their planet. During the time the planet would make no creds or resources for wither faction. The enemy still holds the planet, but could easily use it. Might something along thos
