actualy, 5 major powers; including Hispania. :) other than that your posts sums up what i had initially planned for my teams mod. don't take my word on it though; our team is yet to agree on anything like that :) thats just to give you a general idea ;)

i guess this does not work with 64 bit? :( edit: never mind, was my fault. however, the import function gives me an error. invalid header, aborting.
good question. it would be rather annoying, too, to have to update game files you previously EDITed.so youll have to flick through each entity, replace whats needed and keep your bit of the mod there. i can see a headache or two coming out of this. :p
ah yes lol. thanks
*couldnt figure out how to do a quote* I got this mod to work, but I have a bug. The cost of selling any crystal or metals is -214797494832, so any selling of either drops my credits to 1!!! */couldnt figure out how to do a quote* in some programs, having a REALLY high value will actualy flip the thing around and make it a negative. if your trying to make the selling cost REALLY high, then it will flip to a negative, and charge you instead.
after youve put the mod into its correct directory, launch the game and in the options menu you will see a 'Mods' button. click it, and activate your mod! :) if you cannot see this button, you need to update your game! :D have fun
oh wait, silly me! haha. i never coppied the rest of the textures into my mod folder, and so it was replacing all the textures with an empty texturefolder ! :NOTSURE: atleast my Mr. happy face mod is completed ;p
hey guys, i was just trying to edit a few of the effects, and i tried to edit some of the textures. now i have no idea how they're supposed to work. black seems like the transperant color and white the color you see.. bit like an alpha map. but when i make my own version of these, and load the game with them in my mods/tims test mod/textures/ directory it still runs the game, but no textures are visible (skyboxes are gone, menu apears as a white box, planets have halo's visible, nothing else!)<b
i am very doubtful of this but is it possible to get an importer like this for blender? its probably not as good as the others, but i enjoy using this 3d program.
you will need to update your game to the latest version, otherwise there will be no 'mods' button in the options menu! :D once updated, presuming your using XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar and make a new folder there called 'mods'. inside your mods folder, put another folder, with the title of your mod! within that folder should be the contents of your mod! :) start the game and activ
hah. glad i could help then
use the print screen function on your keyboard. go into microsoft paint and click paste. save that picture and upload it to imageshack.com and share the link with us! :D FYI, the print screen button is above your arrow keys! :) added: kind of the wrong place to ask, though :p
