@ acid boy it took me a long while to find where the mod path was. C:Documents and Settings/User Name/LocalSettings/AppilcationData/Ironclad Games/Mods Your Local Settings may be under the effect of a hidden file, like mine. you just have to play around with the settings until the folder appears.

yeah i thought this might happen. it seems rather unlikely that you would be able to script like that without the proper tools.

lmao some of my teachers in school told me that the history channel was a lie. yes it is a theory, but thats why i said supposedly. they say that we know the size of planets orbiting other stars by using a star bypass.. thats something like the planet goes in front of the star and a shadow appears.. right.

Hath thee ever heard of Mustafar from star wars? well in case you havnt that planet is 30% surface lava. and its between two gas giants no where near its star. im not sure if you could incorporate that, but if you wanted to try that would also add some detail to the solar system. (It is a volcanic planet because the two gas giants gravity wells rock the planets insides back and forth constantly, both trying to capture it as a moon.)

Concerning the black hole thing, our galaxy supposedly has a uh, super massive deadly black hole of death floating in the middle. Earth is slowly being sucked into it, hence the spiral galaxy name. Fun right? <3 history channel

i would like to see a galaxy map and a star map if possible, i want to see the lay out. this sounds fantastic, great idea for a mod.

Is that vista? If so i needa upgrade. Thats hot. Aha, that aside, thanks for putting so much effort into this mod, it really improves the gaming experience significantly. The whole community really appreciates how much time and effort you've put into the mod. Great Job.

Im yet to experience a bug, im afraid to find one. The only thing that makes me crash is a video card error that makes it shut off. Thats always fun. Yes the mod only works of random maps because the planets are added into the files that randomize the maps, the original maps arent edited.

good to hear that you managed to fix the bug and the overwhelming amount of carriers at the same time! I thought of another planet type: a planet covered in storms, increased cloud cover. not a gas giant or a Venus type. Is it possible to add the spark effect in plasma storms to cloud covers? If so that would make for one awesome stormy planet. Or you could try making a savannah planet, covered in grasslands. yellowy grasslands.

Yeah i agree with rugby, i had two urban planets right next to my home planet and both had 8 sova's. haha, that was interesting. 8 is a little excessive, I'd say put maybe 2 in with a dunov and the rest of whats already there, cobalts kodiaks etc.

All of the planets look great, and add a great new variety to the game. Thanks. If you are going to make more planets, then perhaps make gas giants colonizable? Also you could try making more textures of existing planets. I dont know what other planets there are in the universe. You've done them all.

hmm, my idea for a new planet would probably be either an all forest planet like kashyyyk or endor from star wars, a hive world like armageddon from warhammer 40k, or u could have a war torn planet with craters blown into its surface, or even parts of the planet drifting into space but in orbit of the planet. sort of like half the planet is intact, but the other half is destroyed and floating out into space. that would be really hard to do though.
