regarding to camera, try adjusting the photo appature, if you know how. it opens and closes the lens of the camera, and if its open all the way then only the background will be in focus. if your camera doesnt have the appature adjuster then just try manual focusing.

good god just stop trying to make it like the table top for the first release, its taking forever. just change the models, edit to tooltips, and release a beta. a the nids will just have rediculous amounts of meatshields, so no worries.

except that space marines have two of every organ except for the brain, they have armor twice the size of a human, and they are equipped with the most technologically advanced weaponry in the Universe, not to mention there are probably more space marines in 40k than ODST's. Theres alot of chapters. the covenant is far inferior to the space marines imo, the space marine bolter is the equivalent of a 50. caliber machine gun, and can fire twice as fast. a force commander alone could kill

and then the covenant carrier blows all the UNSC carriers out of commission with a single volley. and plus, seraphs are faster and more durable than Longswords, so the seraphs would: 1: accelerate faster than the Longswords after turning to face the rears of the Longswords, and blow them up. 2: they are much faster than a Pelican, and can easily outrun that, so basically the covenant wins in this situation.

I did what Lost_wLD suggested, and replaced the explosions.explosiondata file in the gameinfo folder with the file of the same name from Bailknights mod v1.2 Then I disabled pirates and played a match, advent vs a normal AI TEC on a medium random map. I've been playing for 2 hours now without a single problem, and it looks gorgeous. I think that replacing the explosions file will fix the biggest problem, because pirates can be disabled easily until Dan gets the jolly roger fixe

Well considering Microsoft doesnt really "own" Halo anymore, and bungie does, i dont think there would be a huge problem. If they do approach you just be civil and explain to them what your going to do, and if they say no, then its alright. We'll manage.

Advent are made for massing there units, hence why their frigates cost the least out of all the races. Also, Advent fighters can be very easily massed. They get the carriers first out of everyone, so they can get a diverse fleet going very easily. Also!! Advent capitols are well rounded and have the most useful abilities out of all the teams. Plus the fully upgraded shields make them have the most shields, which are easier to replace then the actual hull of the ship. <b

If you've ever seen the Chronicles of Riddick, fantastic movie, you will know that they have fascinating ideas for planets. I think you should try making a planet like Crematoria. The Planet that orbits ridiculously close to its sun and is engulfed in fire etc.. Well i think that would be awesome if possible. I could also try it if i didnt suck at it. I am intrigued by this "Animated textures" question. please do answer as soon as possible.

That my friend is a very funny joke. but it has inspired me. I have absolutely no idea how to make a "good" Texture, but i will try. If i get something remotely good, ill mention it. I wasnt saying the texture was bad, i just had a different opinion. Fantastic job, better than anything i could hope to do. But i will try, and probably fail. Hmm. im just trying to think of how to make that toxic planet seem more "toxic". I mean, when you think of a planet thats toxic, i tend to think of greenish water/liquid in place of blue oceans. They both look good, but i would suggest making the toxic planet appear a little darker, the atmosphere makes it look strange in my opinion. That texture without the purple atmosphere might be good for another terran planet, with some adjustments of course. Thats just the laziness speaking though, i couldnt ever texture for my life, so i salute both of you for making the fantastic textures. Keep it up, great job.

Ironically the only planetary bonus ive gotten in 12 games of a huge random map are either crystal production +200% -or- Planetary shield. im not including galactic trade center as its on every(i think) urban planet. so in my case i suppose i should just increase the chance eh? I believe sins has alot more potential graphics-wise than any of these other games. The dev's decided to leave alot out graphically and gameplay wise for cost reduction and for performance. I agree, for a game released in 2002 Haegemonia looks great. One of the best without a doubt. A homeworld mod would be good, just a huge challenge in my oppinion. making all of the content will be a huge undertaking.
