Why are the devs abandoning Sins when it is making more money than ever before?

Stardock and Ironclad remind me of the good ol' days of Blizzard. We will see another patch from Ironclad, just not now. I will buy Sins 2 because I see Ironclad and Stardock as companies that make and publish games for gamers. I will support because if I don't, then who is left to make creative, good, fun games? EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard are all run by shareholders.
