TEC can counter RA pretty easily. If they have a good economy running and can afford to not only build more units to fight off the RA waves and also expand they have the advantage. Just build novalisks and bomb the shit out of the vasari planets. works like a charm and once they have no more planets its GG no matter how outnumbered the TEC was.
ha that is sweet. a hidden planet. very sneaky. do you have to phase between them?? if not you could easily defend the neutral mines along with your planet.

While i dont think RA is a "win button" its still an amazing tool. Even if you have only 1 or 2 on all your planets it really helps with unit production. Once i get to a decent ammount of phases i almost completely stop unit production (except for an occasional spam of necessary units such as planet bombers or more defense vessels). Instead all of my resources go to boosting my units strengths and the effectiveness of my economy. In the mean time, my opponents are forced to spam as much units as
Drain Planet is incredibly useful. Not only does it steal resources but does insane damage to the planet if you let its duration run full. It can easy knock out a 1500 hp planet it one go and from what i have seen does close to 2000-2500 damage over time. great ability. The evac is always my first capital hands down. Another sneaky trick to do is once you have a good network of phase gates up and dark armada coming go on the attack. go for something easy on the out skirts off the enemi
