Lan works fine for me, I have a copy of sins installed on my gaming rig and lappy, and as long as their connected to the same network, lan works. if you have the ip of the other comp, you could always try manually connecting. also remember to keep the firewalls off.

i'm quite computer literate, and in my few years of working with computers, i've encounted quite a few tricky situations. From having a case with a small magnet mess up my bootloader to 17 viruses at one time. (my uncles usb is evil!). I'm suprised how the average computer user survives. The problems i've faced would surely make their head explode. But from what i've seen, its the computer litearte ones that encounter the difficult computer problems. so not fair. Did I miss something? in Beta Feedback Sins Forums

I downloaded the beta on my gaming rig today (previously was using laptop to play beta). While archiving, it froze. I exited Impulse, and started it back up. This time, it didn't show the 'archiving' status. After downloading it, I ran the game (in admin mode). The bottom right corner of the main menu screen says 1.09. In game, the 'buy resources' thing in the upper right wasn't loaded properly. The metal and crystal pictures weren't showing up, but you could s
